Caribbean Poker Rules and Pointers

Poker has become globally celebrated as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years several types on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the house rather than each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or other kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the croupier saying "No further bets." At that point, both you and the bank and of course all of the other gamblers acquire five cards each. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s first card, you have to in turn make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s amount is equal to your beginning bet, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the bet is the conclusion. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with an amount equal to the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays cash even with your bet and controlled odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
