[ English ]

Poker has become globally famous recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the casino instead of each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no bluffing or other kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer broadcasting "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different players are given 5 cards. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call wager or bow out. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your beginning wager, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes directly to the house. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, including an amount in accordance with the original wager. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The casino pays out chips equal to your original bet and set expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
